The NHS does not pay for some of the services we provide. There is an enormous burden of additional work that we we are not funded for. These include private sick notes, insurance forms, holiday cancellation forms, medical reports, private prescriptions, some vaccination services, private letters to schools/nurseries/councils etc. We also offer private medicals eg HGV and foster medicals. Our fees for these services are displayed in the surgery and are under the recommended BMA guidance.
Please be aware we are unable to provide “fit for” letters for sporting or activities or occupational work, however we are able to provide a patient summary sheet with details of your medical conditions, free of charge.
