FLU ADVICE

As you may be aware, there is a lot of flu circulating in the community at the moment

If you experience mild or moderate flu ;like symptoms please stay home to avoid spreading the virus, especially within GP Practices and Hospitals.

If you need medical advice, please contact your local pharmacy or if you have any of the following please contact your GP Practice or NSH 24 on 111:

  • difficulty breathing
  • severe chest pain
  • coughing up blood
  • confusion
  • prolonged fever for more than 5 days
  • poor immune system
  • chronic chest condition like asthma or copd

To reduce the spread: please wash your hands often, cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue or your elbow and consider wearing a face mask.
